We took the wrong turning from Besalú to L'Estany de Banyoles and ended up driving around the industrial outskirts of Banyoles itself. We then thought that Banyoles was right on the lake so then eventually managed to get into town and ran around trying to find it, we finally asked someone and exasperated got back in the car to arrive and discover that I'd somehow managed to loose our road map! Despite that we liked the lake, even if it was all very 'clean'. 23/04/2005 17:41
